Insurance purchased by CGAs to protect the public

All members practicing their profession in private practice as full or part-time self-employed professionals or for another member or a partnership of members must be covered by professional liability insurance as provided by the Regulation respecting the professional liability insurance for certified general accountants (in French only).

CGA professionals thus offer a guarantee to their clients against their liability in case of errors or negligence committed in the practice of their professional activities.
