To practice the accounting profession, it is now more essential than ever before that professionals develop new and advanced expertise and maintain the knowledge they already have.
Accountants work in a professional environment that is increasingly complex and changing rapidly due to the influence of larger international trends. The clients and employers who retain their services as public accounts expect us to have advanced expertise and competencies that are in step with recent developments in the profession.
That is why continuing education is important. In that respect, the Ordre des CGA du Québec offers members many opportunities for professional development.
The Ordre also encourages its members to stay informed of the latest developments in technology and accounting by offering conferences, seminars and professional development products.
