Scholarships showcasing excellence
The Ordre des CGA du Québec has always promoted excellence, and it is in this spirit that it awards over $40,000 in scholarships each year.
They are granted to candidates who have done particularly well academically and who meet eligibility criteria.
Two of these scholarships are especially coveted:
The Undergraduate Scholarship
One scholarship worth more than $2,000 is awarded annually to a student interested in pursuing their studies to become a CGA and noteworthy academic records.
The Doctoral Scholarship
To ensure that university teaching positions remain accessible to the Ordre’s members and to encourage them to obtain a PhD, the Ordre awards one $5,000 doctoral scholarship each year. This scholarship may be renewed for a second and third consecutive year provided that the recipient continues to meet the Ordre’s requirements.

People wishing to apply for a scholarship must submit their candidacy directly to their academic institution. In fact, the person responsible for managing scholarships at each university chooses the recipient at his or her discretion.
